Hello, I am Bill King and I am seeking your vote to represent Milford, NH as your State Representative again.

I have been active in our community since 1994 in leading and administrating MCAA sports programs, working as a Rotarian to raise money for our community needs, working to help unite local churches seeking the welfare of our community, and working with local businesses to connect and reach their potential. My next step to build on the efforts of my last 26 years is to seek to represent you in Concord.

I believe “We the people” means we all need to work together to assist our children as they grow into responsible adults, to support our local businesses to create a strong infrastructure for our community, to support our local churches and civic organizations providing the moral fabric we need to build strong character, and to support organizations such as SHARE and CAST to provide assistance to Milford families in need. While residing in Milford, I have personally witnessed our community come together with compassionate hearts during difficult times.  We are blessed to live in such a community.

After you elected me as your representative in the state house on November 3, 2020, I was selected to be on the Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs committee.  This was a sought after committee mainly because this committee works with bills addressing substance use disorder recovery and mental illness.  During these same two years, I have learned much of substance use disorder is a direct result of mental illness.  Mental illness is in our schools, our workplaces, our churches and our community.  Addressing the problem is not an easy solution and requires awareness, understanding and training.  Together is the only way we will win this war on our society.

It would be a privilege to continue representing our Milford community in Concord.  I ask for your vote on November 8, 2022
